Organizational gaps

Society and organisations often require the transportation or progression of various entities from point A to point B. To facilitate these transitions, numerous organisations and their subsidiary units must contribute to the overall flow and process. In today’s society this has resulted in a large number of hyperspecializations along the value chain, where organisations have developed their own unique way of doing things through processes, governance structures and IT systems. While it is beneficial for their specific objectives and informational needs, it is also often the reason why organizational gaps may appear between the different participants along the entire value creation,  resulting in miscommunications, delays and important information or events falling through the cracks.
